Bread good analysis, just like Floyd would have murdered Loma at 135... Teophemo is just better. If Loma had taken any risks early whether body punching or otherwise we would have been talking about a Teophemo’s knock out. Loma knew the heat coming at him and felt Lopez’s agility, timing and speed. That is why he didn’t throw for seven rounds. What is boxing becoming where we keep talking about the loser but refuse to discuss the success of the winner?

They should fight at 147 now. Loma gets the age advantage, Floyd gets a huge weight advantage. Then people can stop speculating. Floyd's issues with Corley and Judah before they gassed out, two much less technical versions of Loma, suggests Loma could beat Floyd at 135. Floyd never fought any prime fighters like Loma. But the entire sport seems very suspect to me at this stage, so Im not sure skills matter, just $. So Floyd would probably win but IMO, not for the reasons you think. Nothing to do with boxing skill, but because it would generate a lot more money for the American star to win.

If you look at IMO the biggest recent fights of top non-Western fighters vs American, Hispanic, or UK stars, like Klitschko-Fury, Klitschko-Joshua, Loma-Lopez, Canelo-GGG twice, Canelo-Kovalev, Kovalev-Ward twice, and Mayweather-Pacquiao, Matthysse-Garcia, the non-Western fighter has a combined record of 0-9-1. But when they fight fellow non-Western opponents, they basically never lose. You can come up with a million reasons if you want, but for fighters that good to go zero-for-ten in those fights, many of which they were the favorite going in, is su****ious to me, and in my opinion suggests that skill and talent has very little to do with who wins fights in Boxing.

Bottom ****ing line... Loma is a great fighter but he is and has been way overhyped to satisfy media insecurity. Was a fan of his before this trash collection of bias came into the picture via HBO Boxing. As Bread stated, if his pivot is mirrored he can’t take a flush punch.

Pretty Boy Floyd would have absolutely murdered him. No longer than a 7 round KO. Slick fighters with reach will always be a problem for him. He already lost to Teo. Put him in with Haney, Tank, Berchelt, Garcia and Stevens. Let’s see how many of those fights he wins. You can’t ultra hype 14 & 2. Stop fan boys it’s time to let go of the tether. Once again their false reality has betrayed you. Does your Ego want the Blue pill or the red pill.

no offense but for someone with the name logic in their username, your comment is pretty illogical. First, the debate was who would win prime for prime at 135 between Loma and Floyd. Having a 43 yr old mayweather who is literally about to be a grandfather fight Loma at 147 will in no way settle that debate.

Next, your non western vs everyone else argument doesn't make sense because of the 10 fights, only 3 had significant cause for controversy. Canelos 2 wins vs ggg (but canelo gets those scorecards vs any and everyone) and ward vs Kovalev 1. The rest, the right man clearly won. Oh, and with Garcia vs mathysse, who's the non western fighter? Mathysse is from Argentina which is south America.

Loved him as a fighter but Ward’s score card was hot pissed on trash. One punch no matter how clean does not win you a round that you were getting tagged in and running. And just because you loss by a smaller margin than previous rounds does not mean you won the round. That will only get you credit from the biased. Teophemo only lost three rounds if being objective. Teophemo is just a better fighter than Loma. That is why Loma ducked Haney. He has been over-hyped for years. Thank you Top Rank for turning a very likable fighter into antagonist caricature.

The misconception that Floyd struggled with Corley and Judah is ridiculous.

Floyd didn't even box Corley he just went in there and slugged him, and he knocked him down like six times while the ref kept calling them slips even though they were knockdowns.

              The reason he was slugging?

Floyd had started to be accused of being boring and being high risk low reward, that's why he couldn't get the Mosley's and Oscar Delahoya's to fight him. He started fighting aggressively and searching to for knockouts in order to entertain the crowds and become more popular. That's why he fought like that in that fight where he literally won almost, if not in fact every round.

Another misconception perpetuated by the media and fanboys is that Floyd took over after Judah gassed in round six.

              Bollock!!!

Floyd won (dominantly), rounds 4, 5, and 6 on ALL the judges scorecards.

              You know what this means?

It means Floyd didn't take over the fight in the second half, ge took over the fight well within the first half of that fight.

You telliing me Judah gassed in 3 rounds?

              Rubbish!

He was dominating the first three rounds and wasn't gassed at all at the start of tbe fourth. Floyd just figured out how to nullify him and started beating him senseless from then on.

              Loma vs Floyd at 135lbs?

Floyd would win by 8 rounds to 4 with a knockdown or three.

              At 130lbs?

Floyd was unbeatable at that weight.

Currently: Floyd would walk down and stop Loma. No doubt Loma would land way more punches (Floyd is totally shot, saw that clearly in the McGregor fight), but the size is just too much. Loma would get stopped.

Doubledagger!! I’m going to remember this for a long time.
I’ve watched the Floyd-Zab and Floyd-Corley fights like 10 times each and I have the same conclusion as you.

Only thing I can say is Floyd stops Loma at 130 or 135. Floyd’s accuracy is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
No one has ever made Marquez look C class. Marquez is one of my favorite boxers of all time and Floyd rendered him useless. And it’s not a size difference thing as people like to claim. Floyd was just better, razor-sharper and ten times quicker. It would have been exactly the same thing has they fought at 140.

                    Boxing illogic at it again.

Campbell and Teofimo's length bothered Lomachenko. Floyd would completely smoke him with his long arms and far superior skills.
