Chisora is Chisora, he just looks terrible again someone that can box and move and southpaws, and looks ok against flat-footed opponents. That’s basically the top and bottom of it.

It’s not a coincidence that these supposed worse versions of Chisora are against opponents that are boxing and moving or fighting in southpaw stance.

Like fury said, if you can stick a jab in Chisora’s face and move a bit, he is useless.
I think Chisora has only looked "terrible" and outclassed in one fight and that was the Tyson Fury rematch. Against Kabayel, Chisora was in that fight but his trainer Don Charles wasn't with him that night. There was only 200 people in attendance too so he says he couldn't get pumped up enough because of the unexpected lack of a crowd noise. He'll be prepared for no crowd against Usyk though and trained specifically with that in mind. And Chisora beat 2 southpaws last year - Szpilka by KO and Gashi by decision.

His record is a bit deceptive because he has so many losses, but most of them were actually very close fights that he could have won with different judges. Most of his losses (other than his 2 KOs to Haye and Whyte, and his one RTD to Fury) are either Split decisions, or Majority decision losses.. not UDs. He even got a Split Decision loss against Pulev, and that's AJ's next opponent.

Isn’t Pulev his mandatory? Do you not think boxers should honour these? What would you suggest he does instead?

No I understand, he's gotta do the mandatory. I'm making the comparison in defense of Usyk because he's fighting a man who had a very close fight with Pulev. Actually I believe Chisora could beat Pulev in a rematch. So let's give credit where it's due if Usyk comes out victorious. And if he gets the stoppage, he'll be only the 4th man to do so out of 42 fights.

Yeah he definitely deserves credit it’s a decent test for his second heavyweight fight.

Say what you want about Chisora but he’s going to have a 35lb weight advantage and is tough

This is the 2nd fight for Usyk at heavyweight that proves nothing. Both unneeded time wasters. Either he can beat the best heavyweights or he can't. I think he can't.

Yeah don’t get me wrong, I don’t think he’s bad at all. Chisora is a very solid competitor at a good level. My main point is I just think this is an awful style fight for him. I think Usyk and his team know that it’s going to make him look good.

Put it this way, Chisora would’ve won a world title if he had Anthony Joshua’s route to his first world title, From his debut to Charles Martin. Probably Wilder’s route too, So it’s not like he could never have been a world title holder in terms of level, he’s often had tough fights.

I think the main thing we can take from Chisora’s career is he falls short at the high level, and if Usyk is that level which he was at Cruiserweight, then Usyk should win and win comfortably due to styles

Usyk should be ashamed for taking this fight, he deserves zero credit for winning and if he struggles in any fashion he should be derided and sneered at.
                  Agreed.

                  And it’s on PPV!

but i agree that chisora is a spirited semi-bum even when prime.
