Do the Charlo Twins deserve PFP Status

I can say that I'm a Jermell and Jermall Charlo fan, but do they deserve to be in pfp top 10.

    Notable Wins for mell:

-Robbery then knock out of Tony Harrison

-Jeison Rosario (who knocked out Julian Williams but who also got knocked out by Nathaniel Gallimore)

    -Past Prime Austin Trout

-Glass chin Erickson Lubin who was recently almost knocked out by terrell "no power" gausha

-And if you really wanted to boost his resume, John Jackson who he won the vacant WBC title fighting

    Notable Wins for mall:

    -pre-chinny Julian Williams

    -Cornelius Bundrage

    -Past prime Austin Trout

-Struggle fight against little but highly skilled Matt Korobov

-And recently a shut-out performance against Sergiy Derevyanchenko

I think mell should be pfp based solely on accomplishments, that being he is a 3 or 4 belt champ, but he hasn't yet fought a fighter that I thought could give him a REAL TEST (GGG to Canelo etc).

Simply put, I don't think Jermall has done enough to become pfp top 10

I think both have the skills, I think Mell should be in the top 10 while Mall is top 15, even tho Mall has the better P4P skills, Mell has all the belts at 154 and looks near unbeatable in what is a stacked division between the rest of the contenders

No they dont. Maybe Jermell if anything.

Jermall has no special effects besides that one in a million, lucky uppercut on Williams lol he is losing that belt soon.

Jermell is a good fighter and i see him doing things but Jermall not so much.

I realized awhile ago that Jermell is superior and Jermall is a poser.

Agreed, but the only thing that disappoints me about Jermall is that it didn't seem that his power fully carried up to 160. I'm no pro-boxer myself so I have limited room to comment, but he couldn't knock down Derevyanchenko, who I admit has a TON of heart. And lets admit is does Jermall Charlo beat Canelo, probably not. Definitely not on scorecards, and the Derevyanchenko performance didn't show me that he has enough power to seriously hurt someone like Canelo, or even GGG. Its got me questioning how much Pfp potential Mall really has if he can't beat the "cash cow" aka Canelo...

I think Mall reserve himself a bit knowing Devery might be there all night, he landed some bombs but Devery looked super determined, but what surprised me more from Mall was his great strong jab and patience of a boxer, I think he has a chance vs Nelo and it be a great boxing war, but we all know Nelo is up by 7rds before the fight even starts, i dont understand how people dont care about fighters if they lose or there agenda, i still want to watch great fights Neofimo on paper was not the favorite among the boxing world and had a slim chance to win on cards, it was a nice good match and thats what I really care about

What is really being saved by not typing out “Jer”?

I can only respect that^. And I think Mall has a chance against Canelo, and by no means am I a Canelo fan, but I have to admit that Jermall Charlo hasn't shown me anything to make me think that he'll beat Canelo by ko, or tko, which sadly are his only chances when fighting the "man" of the sport.

It is tough to say. In a weaker boxing era overall, yes. But there are some talented fighters out there at the moment that are ahead of them when you look at all the weightclasses.

What makes it even more complicated is that Jermell has more titles and looks like he will clean out 154 but Jermall is the more talented and skilled one. The problem for Jermall though is that he has to compete against more experienced and proven competition.

Jermell does not have a Canelo, Benavidez, Jacobs, or even Andrade hovering around his weightclass and above like Jermall does. He has flawed fighters competing at 154 at the moment. It is not his fault by any means as I believe he is no middleweight and 154 is his ideal weight.

More proof that resumes don't mean sh_t because whether a fighter counts as a credible win or not is solely up to the individual and whether they feel like praising a fighter they like or denigrating a fighter they don't like. "The legendary Matt Korobov. The mythical Tony Harrison. The Godlike David Lemieux. The Herculean, undefeated Dominic Wade!" lol.

Jermall is close, he did style on D-chenko unlike Jacobs and GGG, but we'll see. The problem is the p4p top ten is very hard to crack as there are multiple lineal, unified and undefeated champions who have actually beat the best in their division.

Great Response. A year ago the only real challenge I thought that Jermell could beat, even moving up in weight, is Andrade. Andrade has a chin-deficiency at 160 and I Think Mell could hurt him and tko him. But, Andrade is visiting 168 for now, so we'll see.
