The predictions I got right in 2020

    1. Tyson Fury to spark Wilder if he steps into his punches. And I picked Fury to win by KO.

    2. Fury vs Wilder trilogy won’t happen.

    3. Teofimo Lopez to beat Lomachenko.

    4. Dillian Whyte to get sparked by Povetkin

This is just a reminder to the resident useful idiots and self-proclaimed “boxing geeks” on the Forum that you DKSAB. So when I speak - listen and learn.

I can understand the first two...but please explain how and why you made the correct decision with #3 and #4.

    Thank you.

A few lucky guesses don't impress anyone.

Teofimo Lopez is one of my top-5 favourite boxers and after watching how Luke Campbell was able to neutralise Loma - I just thought Teo punches too hard, too big and too fast for Loma.

And Teo is as tough as they come.

The thing with boxing is that a lot of boxers do all kinds of fancy things when facing weak non-punchers. However, when you put them in the ring with a boxer-puncher that punches hard enough to keep them honest - it neutralises all their fancy stuffs and make them ordinary. Loma was actually lucky he didn’t get sparked and was smart enough not to engage in the first 6 rds, else he would’ve been disgraced by Teo.

With Dillian Whyte: the guy is susceptible to uppercut and Povetkin has the best sneaky uppercut in boxing that he can set-up from anywhere. So that was an easy pick tbh.

I saw the Campbell fight and is seems to me that LOmachenko won almost every round. Campbell was just to big and durable for him to be stopped, but he took lots of punishment.

An for Povetkin and his famous uppercut. I don't think it's famous at all, why did he not use it when Klitschko was close in , a perfect opportunity for an uppercut. And there were others. A 41 year old Povetkin , at least 6-7 years past his peak, very obviously flabby around the waist.........hmm.!!

So maybe I missed them. O.K. a good explanation as to why you picked them, and I hope that my comment is also as well received by you.
