Comments Thread For: Brook: Khan Didn't Believe He Would Win, Crawford Knows I'm Dangerous

Sheffield's Kell Brook is not one who looks for the easiest route of resistance. Having won his IBF world welterweight title in the USA against Shawn Porter, Brook would later suffer back to back defeats up at middleweight to Gennady Golovkin before losing his crown to unbeaten mandatory Errol Spence.

They forgot the part about Jo Jo Dan, Frankie Gavin, and Kevin Bizier! Lol!

Yep, its always a bad sign when a fighter is known best for his defeats instead of his signature victories.

Brook did very well to beat Porter in the US, but he / Eddie screwed his career by the subsequent fights with JoJo Dan and Gavin et al. He should have chased Khan for a huge payday and a genuine legacy. Instead he now fights male strippers to pay the rent and cashes out with this fight with Crawford, which (like the GGG and Spence fight) he is unlikely to win given his recent inactivity.

I don't dislike Brook - but he did waste his talent and lose millions (maybe ten's of millions) by failing to use his IBF win as a launch pad for a really successful career. Especially as he was a very late addition to the top tier WW division.

I agree with Brook, Khan was dropped in the 1st never won a round and then was hit with a low blow in 6th , clearly to the hip/top of the leg and promptly bailed out. Kell , if he loses barring his eye sockets being smashed again will be dangerous for every second in there.I really don't expect him to win (but he can) at 7/1 he's got to be worth a few quid.I hope he gives a good account of himself and for the Brit's in general as Khan was nothing but an embarrassment.

He should've went after Pacquiao, Bradley, Thurman, or Danny Garcia! Probably should've fought Spence when he went after GGG, instead of after fighting GGG! I don't hate him either! I think he could be a problem at 154, should be able to beat Texieira and Lara, or at least highly competitive! Crawford is all wrong for him!

It seems it's only you that didn't see the years of Brook trying to get Khan to fight him.A lot of people inc. me got bored with Brook chasing Khan and Khan's relentless excuses that have never been equaled. If there is a reason for the way Brooks career has faulted other than fighting the elite of boxing's best then it's chasing the Khan payday as he did and giving that little quitter the beating he would have .Where was you when Khan was running like a rat?

Brook certainly has the talent, but he was never a name even in the UK till he fought GGG. Maybe he still has enough left for one more "prime" performance. If so, this won't be an easy fight for Crawford.

If Brook's body has recovered from the damage caused by GGG and Spence, he will give Crawford all types of problems. He's a better fighter, than folks give him credit for being.

                  Brook if healthy can win

Brook is a better fighter than khan. Crawford never had a opponent like Brook. If brook is healthy he’ll win!!
