Wrong. Oscar told DAZN he could deliver the third GGG fight so DAZN would give him a deal for his fighters. There was no obligation for Canelo to fight GGG in his deal. When they signed Canelo GGG was a free agent so there couldn’t be.
DAZN then tried to force it by denying fights like Andrade and Canelo ended up losing his Sept date last year.
This is all on Golden Boy. They work for Canelo not the other way around and their incompetence has caused this rift.

DAZN probably saw the reality that Oscar and Loeffler played them in saying they “could” get the trilogy going. Canelo was the only one consistent since even before the DAZN deal that he wasn’t interested in fighting GGG. GBP and all of industry tried to instigate the trilogy regardless with DAZN expecting the fight. Even GGG somehow played along to want the third fight even though he didn’t have to. Someone on the underground probably leaked info to Canelo what had been going regarding everything and signing to DAZN and is the reason why Canelo and Oscar had a fallout since 2019.

When Canelo knew the reality for what he got himself into he was advised to ask more for the GGG fight. This is why fans even run with the “diva” statements because for many Canelo should give the fans fight with them not caring for any theory or politics. They just see money in general, even if it benefits GGG with his multi deal, most Canelo haters and even objective fans just want a fight.
