no its not...not when you make the decisiont to wait to turn pro at 26....and u take a world title fight in your 2nd pro fight...it says "**** pro experience...im confident and feel im good enough for this".....nobody put a gun to lomas head and told him to fight salido in his 2nd pro fight....he wanted it because he felt he was ready and could do it.....Comment

Anyone who understands boxing knows that Loma is a better fighter than Teo. Yes, he chose the wrong strategy and lost the fight, no questions about that. The first 5 rounds Teo was barely landing. the next 6 rounds he had no idea what to do. Look at rds 10 and 11 - Teo looked absolutely lost. He didn't know what to do.
Anyway, Loma doesn't look for easy ways. He continued to stepping up to tougher competition until he realized his weight limits. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't try to go past this division if he beat Teo as he already stated multiple times that in this weight category he could tell opponents are getting to heavy. There is nothing to argue about - Loma's resume is top notch and he has 0 fear to fight top dogs. Now look at Davis lolComment

Loma was also the favorite in the fight. This wasn’t some 50/50 fight where Loma took a risk.no its not...not when you make the decisiont to wait to turn pro at 26....and u take a world title fight in your 2nd pro fight...it says "**** pro experience...im confident and feel im good enough for this".....nobody put a gun to lomas head and told him to fight salido in his 2nd pro fight....he wanted it because he felt he was ready and could do it.....
It was set up by his promoter for him to beat an older, fading veteran with a name to look good. He just failed to get the job done.Comment

It’s fine if you felt Loma was better than Teo before they fought.Anyone who understands boxing knows that Loma is a better fighter than Teo. To suggest this now after you watched them fight is utterly ridiculous and wreaks of the kind of bias that the very worst and scummiest Loma fans are known for.
Teo outboxed him because Loma decided it was better to lose by UD then get stopped. Credit Loma for rounds 8-11 but look at how that took so much out of him that he almost got stopped in the 12th.
As for not looking for easy opponents, Corolla and Campbell were easy. He beat Pedraza well after tank knocked him out.
Haney would’ve been tough and he avoided that fight as to not jeopardize the Teo payday.
Loma is unquestionably a top tier talent and deserved his p4p spot. He just got beat by a better man. His resume is good but let’s not act like every time he fights it’s against elite opposition.Comment

Of course it is...no its not...not when you make the decisiont to wait to turn pro at 26....and u take a world title fight in your 2nd pro fight...it says "**** pro experience...im confident and feel im good enough for this".....nobody put a gun to lomas head and told him to fight salido in his 2nd pro fight....he wanted it because he felt he was ready and could do it.....
Thousands of elite amateurs have turned pro in their 20’s none of them have been matched like Loma.Comment

loma was matched because he asked for it....yes he probably could have taken easier touches and a lighter slate to start...he chose it.....which should let a light bulb go off in your head "maybe loma didnt think he needed the pro experience and could beat champs or veterans easily very early"....common sense and logic says loma didnt think he needed the pro experience since it was all his choiceComment

That's your opinion, not going to get into that.
Which part did Teo outbox him in? He threw a lot of punches but considering his resume as a power puncher he barely did any damage.
Took so much out of him? In the 12th round he decided to go head to head because he knew he made a wrong decision to give away the first half of the fight. I don't see where he almost got stopped. He gave Teo a nasty cut in the 12th. so it basically took Loma 5 rounds to open him up but he decided not to box in the first 6 rounds.
As far as I remember, Crolla was a title defence due to a lack of willing opponents. Pedaza was a WBO title fight. Both Davis and Haney are all talk and now walk. Loma himself stated numerous times that he would even take a pay cut to fight Tank, and Tankhad all the time in the world to take the fight but he chose to eat donuts and then weight bully Santa Cruz.
Anyway, I agree to disagreeComment
