Comments Thread For: Arum Doubts Wilder's Manager Has Read Contract For Fury Trilogy

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, who co-promotes WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is very confident that his star boxer is legally capable of fighting on December 5 in the UK. Back in February, Fury stopped Deontay Wilder in seven rounds to capture the WBC title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Of course he’s read the contact that is his sole job to Wilder and is the guy behind the scenes that dictates who he fights and the guy that fooled many into a make believe 50 million offer ,he’s as shady as they come ,even convinced some after he got the contract he asked for didn’t have a signature to authorize a fight with AJ which was also a lie .

Arum is probably right, if so Wilder will probably keep him onboard. He only gets rid of those who truly try and help him it seems.

Wilder has been exposed and really doesn't want a III

Didn’t you get clowned enough last time on the other thread with claims there was

no meeting set up when I posted Finkle admittedly setting up one ?

“It's always nice to call someone's bluff. What we've done is called their bluff here, and they won't even meet to talk about the deal. We asked for a meeting to try and talk about the offer - they rejected it. We asked for a contract - they rejected it. I don't know what more we can do, we can continue trying." E. Hearn

You need look no further than Lou Dibella. Here’s a man who had wilder’s back from day one. Acted as his promoter for Alan Haymon’s shows.

He earnestly tried to make the AJ fight when Hearn was in NY, but did it get approval from Haymon and Finkel. He thought he was doing the right thing because he thought they wanted the fight.

Alan Haymon found out and they ousted Lou. Listen to any of Lou’s interviews about it. The truth is out. Lou said that’s why he’s out because he thought they wanted it but they didn’t.

This isn’t to say wilder did it want it. He may or may not have. But it came at the expense of Lou being the scapegoat.

The truth came out and Lou got played. Shameful.

The fact that Finkel has not filed an injuction or threatened any legal action means they dont have a leg to stand on, considering Haymons business savvy and Finkel only having Wilder to manage it is ludicrous they let this happen.
If he keeps fighting he needs to get new trainers and a real promoter to maximize his earnings before retiring, get some highlight reel knockouts against Kownacki/Kabayel/Martin and earn a shot against Fury/Joshua or Usyk if he picks up the WBO

Remember when Bob thought he had the legal high on PBC. Remember when he thought he could force Mikey and Floyd to fight for less than what they were worth. Bob talks the most crap when he is faced with legal action. Expect a settlement with a NDA.

I'd take Al Haymon lawyers in US court over any UK lawyer.

Remember when you and a host of others said Hearn can not force Ruiz into the Rematch and he was threatened by legal action, he even promised everyone he wouldn’t fight AJ unless it was in the U.S and you guys rolled with it ?

If you really know about legal things you know you don’t want or wish a fight to happen ,you file a breach of contract and we know that’s not going to happen as it would be a waste of Wilders money like it was a waste for Ruiz .
