My personal opinion on the matter is moreso about creating a belt in the first place to commemorate events rather than the title they chose to give a belt. They have cheapened their belt value imo, this is like a coin collection, if you have 1 out 3 coins the value of the coin you have is greater because of the rarity but if you have 1 out of 100 coins the value is less. I believe at this point with the amount of belts the WBC has create i.e. The Mayan Belt, The *** Belt, etc they have reduced their belts to nothing more than a participation trophy at this point and have spit in the face of all the past champions who have worn that belt.

Yes, this should be the route they go. They could accomplish the same goal (whatever it is) with Trophies rather than to reduce the value of their belts.
