The only way a Top Rank fighter fights a DAZN fighter is if its in Europe. Thus its going to have to be for a lot if money or for a needed belt. Haney has neither to offer.

It would be a great fight for fans but it makes zero financial or promotional sense to fight Haney given the abive.

Did Loma fight his WBC mando or no? There is no need to insert your feelings about Haney or Loma here. Fact is he had his promoter petition the WBC to make him franchise champion in lieu of fighting Haney. Thus, the belt was handed to Haney giving legitimacy to his title. You can't ignore that.

If Loma left 135, retired, or was hurt and couldn't fight I would say paper title rules apply. You can't just ignore Haney because Loma DECIDED not to fight him when he was supposed to.
