He shows the potential to be one of the ATG HWs because of his very rare combination of attributes. You just dont see guys that big who can box and move like him.

Hes also a big personality and has the gift of the gab, which makes him marketable, which leads to big fights. I appreciate anyone that can bring that big fight feel and hype to the sport.

I began being a fan months before the first wilder fight where I seen a video of him fighting Wlad and I was amazed I had never seen a boxer move like that with constant feints strange arm movements and steps I was hooked instantly I couldn’t get enough (I guess in a way it was my fascination with something I had no concept of I suppose im more of a wlad in terms of how I box) and then once I started searching him up and hearing him in interviews for the first wilder fight I became a fan of his comedic style which I found to be absolutely hilarious as well as his story of his depression which reached me deeply

By the time of the wilder fight I was a fan and during the fight I had become so attached I was shaking as I knew the danger wilder meant and I was so scared when fury went down in the 12th because I thought he was going to go down again that life would deal him a bad hand as it has to do many people that he would try so hard and fought the good fight to get back into the good life only to be beaten down again no matter how hard he tried he couldn’t win but then I was amazed and shocked at his recuperation and tagging wilder when the bell rung I saw the greatness

I knew he was something special and the feeling hasn’t left me when the second fight came around I was getting scared again as wilder had showed he had beaten ortiz and I thought he would be more patient with his right hand and use it to greater effect and I also believed that fury was bluffing with his statements of going for the KO as well as the replacement of ben Davison I thought these weren’t good decisions and I worried greatly for fury’s chances and then the fight occurred where I was shocked again and fury proved me wrong again someone who was such a fan of him yet I didn’t believe and he showed me yet again not to put anything past him when he beat wilder again

So those highs and “emotional” connection are the reason I am a fan of fury he’s my current fav boxer

(I have a similar feeling as well with his chances with AJ in that he may not win)

I wouldn't say I'm a fan but he has some good skills and is quite funny with some of the things he says.

I was a Fury fan a long time before it was popular, I remember watching him fight Mcdermott and Belshaw on the till computer when I had a part time retail job in uni, on boxing guru if anyone remembers that.

Anyway I picked against him three times

Against Klitschko, most thought he'd be brutally ko'd early, I picked him to lose a 116-112 type but show he belonged, he proved me wrong.

When he came back after 3 years out and went for Wilder so quickly I thought he was cashing out having done irreparable damage to himself, he proved me wrong

In Wilder 2 I knew he could outbox Wilder but I didn't see how he could avoid getting hit with the right hand to win. He proved me wrong

Basically I've doubted him and he keeps proving me wrong, at that point you have to just accept that you keep getting this guy wrong and he's better than you thought. A lot better.

Firstly because he’s an excellent fighter. If you look at his overall skill set, he’s one of the most complete fighters in boxing. How many guys in boxing can switch hit, fight inside or outside, backwards or forwards, box beautifully or brawl, great feet, heart, recovery etc etc.

I kind of like the fact he raises and lowers his level to the opposition, because with his ability he could probably just cruise to routine wins.

He’s a character, which the heavyweight division badly lacked in the Wlad era. He’s also a good guy. Despite some things he might’ve said or acted to sell fights etc.. you never hear anyone in the game that has a bad word to say about him as a person.
