"Gallo" Estrada should be ranked higher than Inoue P4P

    41-3, 28 KO's.

He has the skills and boxing IQ, as he has shown the versatility to be a smart counterpuncher or also go to war if that is needed.

But more importantly he has proven this against a high level of opposition. Having had fights with Roman Gonzalez, Sor Rungvisai, and Carlos Cuadras.

Naoya Inoue was in the same division with all these guys yet managed to fight none of them.

    Am I wrong?

You’re not wrong that they haven’t fought him. But that is because he is a problem.

Has a good case to be ranked top 10 p4p but I wouldn’t put him ahead of Inoue .

You have a solid argument for it. Estrada lost to Gonzalez, but he was pretty young. Since then, his resume is absolutely solid. Cuadras was no joke, and he not only beat Rungvisai, he rematched him, and beat him absolutely clearly. His skills have improved quite a bit, and he passes the eye test.

Inoue is no joke either. He passes the eye test with flying colors, and Donaire was an excellent scalp.

They should be very, very close to each other on a P4P list. I'd love for them to fight someday too.

I can see Inoue moving up to 122 soon, but hopefully he fights Casemiro before that.

Those guys will have to move up to fight Inoue.

I think Inoue is better but I’d love to see them fight.

Inoue is a different animal. Donaire is his best win and a good one.

They both pass the eye test.

But one has a significantly better resume in my opinion.

The eye test is what's arguable for me and makes them equal. While he was young, Estrada clearly lost to Roman. Roman was in top3 P4P at the time, so there's no shame in that. Even in last night's fight, Estrada got dropped. He was in real trouble. If Cuadras was slightly more accurate, we could be looking at a different kind of stoppage.

Inoue took heavy fire from Donaire, but was not hurt. He also dominated everyone else he's fought.

To me, Inoue passes the eye test with flying colors, while Estrada is clearly a step away behind him.
