I could be wrong, but I think Lopez punching power and speed had something to do with it.

Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: Lopez's Size, Reach Made It Difficult To Get To Him - Wants Rematch
Vasiliy Lomachenko was somewhat at a loss for words describing what had just transpired soon after he lost a unanimous decision to Teofimo Lopez last week in Las Vegas. Days after the fight had finished, and Lopez was crowned as the unified IBF, WBO, WBA and WBC Franchise titlist, Top Rank released a clip documenting behind the scenes footage of the fight moments after it had finished.

Lomachenko should just move to 147 already. That's where the real legacy fights are anyway. Loma's body shots hurt Teofimo, that means they could hurt Spence and Crawford too.

Where are all the Loma haters who said Loma is a sore loser and excuse maker?
All that crap about him not congratulating Teo isn’t his fault, it’s protocol to leave as soon as the fight is over for the loser to avoid contamination and his doctor an manager came out an mentioned the shoulder!
All I seen was a man who lost, didn’t agree with how the judges scored it and felt that he won!
The fight was a draw like more an more people are coming out an saying after watching it more than once!
Lopez’s shots most of them were landing on gloves, elbows or glancing!
Loma’s shots landed flush and snapped Lopez’s head back!
This fight deserves a rematch and it would do well in a rematch and i would favor Loma if they do it again!

Why can it be that someone can just have a different perspective?
I actually picked Lopez by KO but came away impressed with how the smaller man in his 3rd weight division rallying for a comeback when he could’ve easily just played it safe, waiting for Lopez to tire an his power to subside!
Loma needs an extra eye an ear in the corner, his pops game plan failed him!
