Even if u call them “normal” wins, how many fighters other than Loma have defeated 3 undefeated champions in 14 fights much less their entire careers??? Zero!!!
All the boxers you named don't have any.

Career defining fights are fights like Ali-Foreman, the Pacman-Marquez, Floyd-Canelo, Vargas-Tito, etc. High skills and pride.

    Some have more than one.

Loma isn't a career defining fight for Lopez. He was mostly hype.

For sure Lopez is a Superstar now!
I wouldn’t say that cuz loma wasn’t that known. He will need an opponent that’s built up to the masses and to defeat him to go with this win. Knowing Arum , that fight will never happen.

Very impressed with #TheTakeover coming on after the cut for sure. I’m aware the cut was caused by a clash of heads. I’m just saying that Loma needed López at some sort of disadvantage to win that night.

          • If there is a rematch and Loma wins, there should be a third fight.

Loma winning and moving on would not be cool.

So Floyd career defining fight was a catchweight? Isn't it?

]He can't stand Loma's blond a77, forget about him, coming here detracting a fighter because of what he represents makes him feel better and more secure, he's not stopping anytime soon. He needs it to maintain his psychologic integrity.

And he's a Davis fan, a fighter who did run from Loma and who is fighting past it midgets, the irony.

Most boxing analysts suck and are no proof of anything,
BUT Loma is not hype because of facts:
first of all, he is an ATG amateur boxer, so coming in pros he deserved to have some hype and spotlights anyway.

Then he is the all time fastest 3 divisions male champ. He has beaten 9 world champions in 14 wins (Crolla, Pedraza, Linares, Rigondeaux, Walters, Sosa, Campbell, Martinez, Russel jr).

And he white washed most of them.

                This is mind blowing.

Sure he got 2 losses in the process, close fights, no shame, with such intense fast tracked résumé.

Sure some have been overrating Loma in putting him next to Floyd.

But, hey, Floyd vs Loma at 126 would have been a cool fight.

At 135, Floyd kills Loma, Loma doesn't carry power moving up.
