Sorry if you refer to a poster as a fan of a particular fighter is that delusional? Did you reply for the sake of it or you are actually trying to make a point? So you are not a fan? You are not a fan of the sport? You may not even be a fan of Loma so that way the comment doesn’t apply to you but when you make a ****** assumption on a open forum that the fighter that won the fight pretty handily will be scared of the rematch what on earth would a non fan like you give you that impression. Don’t newer that it’s a rhetorical question. I’m sorry if my words offended you it wasn’t my intention
Why was Teofimo allowed to stiff arm and push Lomo?

I’m sorry if my words offended you it wasn’t my intentionMaybe I need some coffee or something, but I'm not really getting this exchange here. . .No he is saying it because Loma was not willing to offer him a rematch. You wouldn’t be calling for a rematch either if Loma won. I am actually a Loma fn but why are you Loma fans so emotional and in denial. Loma got beat and he has to deal with it not you. Just out of principle he shouldn’t get one. Maybe a 75-25 split may entice Lopez but that’s his decision not yours. Frankly you can’t fight offensively for 4 rounds and expect a rematch because you won 4 rounds tops
I might need to give this Loma fight talk a rest. It's more and more frustrating every time I watch the fight. Even though it was kind of close, Lopez looked like the stronger, quicker, more in control fighter that night.
I don't think it very wise for Teo to run it again with Loma. He's got plenty of options now. As for Loma, I'm not really sure where he goes from here. It may be time to just leave it to the younger generation...Comment

I looked at it as the equivalent of a "play on" or "good no-call" in basketball. Both guys bent the rules a bit and I don't think it interrupted the flow of the fight too much.Comment

Exactly. All the chatter is sounds like it's coming from people who expected Loma to win
There was nothing excessive that dictated the fight, and honestly not that there was "excessive pushing off", loma was coming in with his head. Not on purpose I'm sure they have clashing stances, but I would rather get warnings for pushing off instead of getting headbutted all night and cut.
Excessive pushing go look at lamont vs Khan, this was nothing.Comment

Lomachenko was 396-1 as an amateur, 2 time gold medalist and a world champion...he lost a decision to another world champion. And how is Lopez green? He had 170 amateur fights and is a world champion.
Casuals ruining this forum.Comment

After you land a shot, you're allowed to control the opponent. Some fighters control the head to move or avoid counters, some push the opponent away, some spin.
The ref will only issue a warning if you do the push or spin without a punch action sequence.Comment
