Teofimo will take less for beatable opposition. He's not the first, Salido and Juan Manuel Marquez both did it, they won they run.

Common knowledge: Arum, "I don't do rematch clauses."

Teo is right to tell them to F off unless it’s on his terms.

Which is something I've never understood when it's a champion who doesn't have the clause in their contract. Maybe it's fianancial.

Given that, refusing to fight Lomachenko again makes Lopez look like a bitch.
Like Juan Marquez, he won and he'll run.

Yeah I noticed that too. If you don't like arrogance then you can't like Lopez. I wonder where all this talk of arrogance is coming from? I've never heard Loma say anything more arrogant than the average boxer.

It's financial to BOB....Bob doesn't do rematches. Blowing out the two best makes every other fight just seem ok and the TV contract needs content. No rematch means lots of lead up fights, build up and a second chance to make millions on PPV.

Sometimes fighters like Marquez and Salido feel like they don't want to take that chance again for any amount of money.

Marquez and Salido didn't want to take that chance again. No shame in that, it's a big risk.

They were low-balling Salido with the money offered for the rematch. Sean Gibbons is on record about it.
