I feel as if the boxing media 'The alternative media, have let the sport down'.

In a situation like this? Somebody should be approaching Deontay Wilder directly, at his gym or wherever he hangs out etc.

Deontay Wilder has disappeared like Batman.

He hasn't. I've seen him on social media just living life. It seems like a certain type of fan is aggrieved that Wilder isn't making public statements that they can pass judgment on. Its obvious that the rematch is either a legal issue or a step aside money issue where the fighters have NDAs. Either way, talking to the media isn't going to get a fight signed.

Athlete's work in the public domain, they have a duty to address the public 'The boxing media, should really be trying abit harder to interview Wilder'.

It is absolutely pathetic how this situation has been handled 'From both camps and the media'.

        Pathetic.

Staying silent since the loss is more then enough reason to walk away regardless not just Wilder but his entire team ,sorry but C level sparring partners don’t count nor does vague cryptic messages from Finkle even Wilder blocked Fury from his Twitter, how do you promote that fight ? Ha

Team Wilder has once again tried to manipulate another situation and will use Furys name to promote themselves once he announces his next opponent.

Why can't he speak for himself? Why has his team not reached out to confirm? Fury is ready to go but Wilder isn't that's why they are staying quiet.

                No they dont.

They have a duty to box. That's it.

You're all sounding like *****es. Honestly. And most of you complaining about this ****. Legit on here crying that a grown man isnt running to social media out of one side of your mouth and then ragging on influencers out of the other. Jesus, modern men are so pathetic.

The fact that both sides seem to be so all over the place about this should be a damn good sign that this is a legal/financial issue. Fights are investments above all else and the public are often never privy to the intricacies of negotiations most of time time. A lot of you are just fangirls of guys like Eddie Hearn who pain a false picture whilst negating the fact that boxing is and has always been a minefield of politicking among fighters, managers, promoters, venue owners, networks and governing bodies.

Wtf is going on? Wilder is WILLING to fight..huh........ He will show up at the arena. These are not fighting words to me.Wilder just got his belt ripped from him and replaced with blood in his ears , mouth and nose.
What happened to the fighting talk about rising again. Let me just add my guy AJ was knocked the F#uck out by a lesser fighter admittedly ,but if he vanished I wouldn’t be sticking my neck on the line I will call him out. He was the self proclaimed baddest man on the planet, come out and say “ Fury let’s do this” that’s all he needs to say to energise the Wilderlites. I’m disappointed I enjoyed the rivalry and insults. Now they put their heads down when I address them. If they try and hit me with a low blow about AJ ,I quickly mention Fury and the switch of their computers and call it a day

Boxers do work in the public domain 'fans pay to watch them fight' If this is not the case? Why don't these boxers get off social media, why doesn't Tyson Fury stop uploading incessantly annoying social media videos? He does not stop because, a boxer has a duty to the public 'Personally that would not be my style, as I think Social media is for weasels'.

The bottom line is? It is completely pathetic at how both camps have handled this situation. I very rarely criticize the sport of boxing universal 'But this entire situation is unacceptable'.

Address the public, address the boxing world 'That is all people are asking for etc'.

Note: I have never seen anything like this, I cannot recall such complete nonsense leading up to a big fight. WE knew what the issues where with Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao 'Because Mayweather addressed the fans, Mayweather was direct with the public' THIS saga between Fury and Wilder is a new level of unprofessional conduct.

Also, are we even sure Fury is even going to fight at all in December??? We're in late October now...

In England, a lockdown looms pretty much any minute now. There is next to zero chance of there being any kind of gate revenue if he is looking at the Albert Hall. If he is that willing to fight (and take a pay cut) then its guaranteed that he is fighting a bum. Absolutely no point wasting a solid opponent who can get viewers in on a lame duck December fight which could potentially be a bomb.

Fight camp viewing figures were poor and BT Sports boxing offerings were even worse.

I am getting a strong feeling that, if this is truly down to network issues or even a Wilder injury, that Fury's camp possibly want to postpone the fight until next year whilst Fury continues to stay active...especially given that Fury very much seems like a fighter who likes getting his rounds in. Problem is that I am betting that doing so would probably nullify their rematch clause.
