Anyone here an athlete, let alone a boxer? Lol There are degrees of injury, and areas of the body that are affected by a particular motion more than others. I have no idea who’s saying the truth, who’s exaggerating, or what; but just because a man is able to fight, that doesn’t mean he’s functioning at 100%. And at the highest levels, being anything less can mean the difference between a W or an L.

The idea that its not an excuse because Klimas said it instead of Loma shows how gullible some of you are. Somehow the manager doesn't speak on behalf of the fighter because what the manager said makes the fighter look bad? Funny when it comes to contracts and fights happening or not happening what the manager says is just as good as the fighter saying it.
I guess they forced Loma to take that hospital pick and they gagged him and wouldn't let him do ANY interviews.Comment

They all make excuses after losing. Or even after a bad performanceComment

Get the surgery, recover, return, earn a rematch or move on, whatever but this whole post fight drama show is just a bad look for a guy that basked in over 400 victories.Comment

Definitely a mental battle at the highest levels, but I do believe many fighters come in 100%, unless they over-trained or got hurt at some point.Comment

Very true its just the underlying nature of one vs one at the highest levels of competition, these guys train like machines and push themselves to extremes, things breakdown along the way and they always carry something into the fight with them.
