There's a very real chance that Witter won't get past Corley but there's some decent fights at 140 for Hatton, and Floyd can always drop back down too if he chooses.

Hatton better not overlook Urango. He's a big Jr Welter & seems to struggle against boxers. Hatton will be in front of him all night & including Urango is a hard hitting south-paw which should give him some problems. The talent is depleted at 140 but there are only 3 fights Hatton should make if he goes back down. Witter (if he wins), Vivian Harris, & Castillo.

Hatton would go through Harris, who is pretty dreadful IMO.

The point is that there are no BIG NAMES as Hatton's people put it, in the 140lbs division anymore. Are there some interesting fights sure but any Mega Fights other than Castillo.....NO. Corrales is the only other possible exception but he has a lot of potential big money fights at 135lbs which is talent loaded right now and might be even more so in the next couple of years.

No way he stops Hatton in 5. He isnt super big like Cotto & he doesnt throw pin point punches like Floyd and he couldnt even stop him. Zab also has crazy power and he couldnt stop him.

I dont know how much Chop has left but I always thought Chop would give Hatton hell with his southpaw style and boxing ability

I've just seen Vivian Harris vs Stevie Johnston (a few weeks late I know!!). O.K Harris wasn't in against Johnston at his peak but he did look good. If the Harris performance against Carlos Maussa was just down to bad training he could give Ricky Hatton a bad night. I'm not saying he would beat Hatton but it will be good fight.
