The big fight is at 140 is against Cotto or Castillo. Cotto will step up to 147 soon if the stories are to be believed and a Hatton vs Castillo fight has to overcome T.V politics and Castillo's enivitable isolation, from the fall-out of the postponed rubber match against Corrales. This is a problem for Hatton. He might have to stay at 147 where he seemd to struggle with Collazo's power and he hasn't even got any.

On a selfish note the fight I want Hatton to take is against Junior Witter IF he wins the WBC 140 title. This would be a great occassion for British boxing but I think what Floyd did to Gatti would be repeated with Witter completely out-boxing Hatton to a very comfortable points victory.

Hmmmm. This has the feint whiff of bull**** to me. Hatton can take on smaller guys in the two cheating Amigos and look good. He can have a huge domestic fight that won't attract much attention Stateside but will sell out MEN several times over when he KOs the unpopular Witter. (Which he will, due to Witter's stamina). To top it all he can capitalise on a Cotto fight with Cotto being weight-drained.

Several good names on his record, total unification at 140 and... he misses out on all the people that can beat him.

There is 1 big fight at 140lbs and that is Castillo who will probably move up to 147lbs before to long. Cotto is out of the question because he is Definitely going to 147lbs.

Corrales has too many good potential fights at 135lbs for him to move up. Other than Hatton who would be a big money fight for him? He has more money fights at 135lbs which has a better talent pool and name recognition than the depleted 140lbs division.

So, Hatton is coming down to face Castillo and thats it. After Castillo there is no one.

Well, seeing as how Casa lost to Castillo and was almost KTFO by Kid Diamond in that last round (I had Kid Diamond winning the fight by one round), I don't think he'll be able to beat Chico again. He won the first fight due to a cut in Chico's mouth but the fight was very close. I had it 3 rounds a piece with Casa having a one-point lead because of the estra knock down. Chico was never hurt in that fight but Casa looked dazed when he was KD'd.

We know Chico was dropped in the second fight, as well, but it was more of a flash-KD than anything else. IMHO, Chico won that fight clearly and should've been a UD, not an SD (I thought Chico won 8 rounds clearly).

You guys are forgetting Harris who I think would definatly beat Hatton. If my boy Chop has anything left then he would also give Hatton fits

Oh nah I'm not saying he's gonna lose. He should just focus on one opponent at a time.

I agree. Witter's been calling Hatton out for years and Graham and Hatton don't want any part of it. I think Witter domintes with boxing, speed and power. Gotta watch the later rounds though as Witter seems to fade.
