Loma and his team fought as a 3-1 favorite. He and his team assumed Loma would win so they, as the a side, didn’t secure a rematch clause.

That is on Loma and his team. Manager, fighter and trainer all **** the bed on this fight. Lopez doesn’t have to make up for their ******ity, arrogance and lack of professionalism.

Should loma want a rematch, he didn’t answer yes when asked directly which suggests he doesn’t, he can fight and defeat Haney and earn the mandatory spot.

He owes Haney a fight anyway.

Beat it loser, you had your opportunity and blew it by waiting until round 8 to actually fight.

Instead of being respectful of Lopez's win and try to get a rematch they are crying with all kinds of excuses and I highly doubt they would had given Lopez a rematch if they had the call go their way.

But this is boxing and you never know, they might enough incentive to do a rematch.

Loma will have to start his offense earlier but that means he is going to get hit good early in the fight. His only chance is that he can survive the onslaught and take Lopez deep in a tough fight.

If he loses again he will blame his shoulder.

This is funny. Too arrogant to do a rematch clause. Not humble enough to congratulate the winner or stick around for an interview but now trying to talk rematch? Go kick rocks Loma.

Funny thing is Loma’s not getting a rematch & they know it.

How early could Lomachenko get a rematch after surgery is what I’m curious about.

I think it is more reasonable to assume that Lopez beat him by neutralizing his strengths than because of injury. What surprised me was how simple Lopez made it look at for most of the fight. I thought, wow, is it really that easy to deal with Loma speed, footwork and combinations? The best strategies are always the simplest ones. I thought the same thing when Floyd fought Manny and kept him confused with his jab.
Manny's shoulder injury was legit - the way you can tell is Floyd ran away from the rematch. If it wasn't legit - Floyd would happily beat him up for millions of dollars

Actually it would be funny if Lopez beats him again, these loma fan boys took the whole week off of work to 'heal' from the emotional damage they received lol...all these years they supported a bum and now they're heart broken hahahahaha. Can't believe they fell in love with an amateur who has a 14-2 record
