I hope it goes to rematch.
Pros are; its supposedly for "undisputed." So it hardly seems noble to take the belts and run when the fight was so close (as Teo himself said after).
It did well so its a big money fight. It's perhaps the biggest contest/rivalry going. Teo is the most naturally gifted boxer on the planet, Loma, the most perfected..
On a side note, why are Loma haters so keen to talk down a rematch? Surely they would enjoy seeing Loma beaten so badly again?!Comment

Maybe they can even do a PPV rematch. It should be bigger anyway. Not mad at Teo if he doesn’t take it though.Comment

Vasily may be permanently damaged, I remember Linares gave him a similar beating, then Campbell gave him that work. Now Teofimo sent him back to the hospital.
Lomachenko is done.Comment

If he starts early he’s getting stopped. Don’t start trying to create this narrative where Lomachenko didn’t throw anything in the first 7 rounds out of personal choice. He realized the danger in front of him and had absolutely no choice.Comment

Because he never had any intentions of fighting Lopez twice! He thought he would easily beat this young, inexperienced, loud-mouth kid, and move on to bigger and better things! Lopez should tell him F**K NO! Go get a belt first!Comment

You don't seem to read so well and you sound so "tough" . I suppose if YOU had a torn and fractured shoulder component, you'd just break it off and beat him over the head with it until your opponent was dead.
Does a well known surgeon's description of the injury, and the report that Lomachenko received injections twice not mean anything. It was obvious from the way he fough,t that this was not the Lomachenko we know. He knew he had to do something, and gritted his teeth though the pain, and took the 5 of the last 6 rounds.
You have to learn to know TRUTH when you hear or read it, and the details and surgery were NOT excuses but FACTS. If he was SO beaten then a return hould b easy money for Lopez...and who in the boxing world turns down easy money. Nobody I ever heard of.Comment
