He's The Matrix, remember? Once he realized it didn't matter whether his shoulder was injured or not, what really mattered was that there is no shoulder, his shoulder went back to working 100%. It just took him until round 8 to understand that, that's why he started punching so late and lost.

Nah but seriously, the "sport" is total bull****. Don't try to make sense of the "sport." Instead, make sense of what there is to make sense of. That is, the young, American, Hispanic, english speaking, trash talking, brash potential big future ticket seller got the win against the aging foreign fighter who doesn't speak english.

    As usual.

And everyone who bet Loma to win, Loma by UD, Loma by SD, Loma by KO, Teofimo by KO, and under 10.5 rounds, lost their money.

I think a rematch would sell big, they just need to come up with a catchy name for what to call the fight, like how Ali vs Frazier was called Thrilla in Manila.

My vote would be for them to name the rematch, "THE HOUSE ALWAYS WINS." I've always found that honesty goes a long way in advertising.

"Klimas explains that Lomachenko's injury was more or less kept quiet to avoid the perception that his fighter was looking to make excuses."

That's illegal in the US with official documents. It's called perjury and fraud. Maybe in Loma's country they do it that way. The commission should investigate them for fraud pronto, unless the commission is crooked too.

This fight was Fixed. Loma didnt throw for 6 rounds then suddenly outclassed Lopez in the late rounds. The judge had a crazy score card. The betters lost. They will make the Rematch bigger, more money. Keep fights in house. TRILOGY IN THE MAKING. THIS IS BOB ARUM WAY OF DOING THINGS.

This sounds familiar. It sounds like the same reason Manny and Arum gave after Manny's unexpectedly poor performance against Mayweather. Klimas is saying his team didn't want to make an excuse before the fight, but it looks like they were planning one for after the fight. I think it is more reasonable to assume that Lopez beat him by neutralizing his strengths than because of injury. What surprised me was how simple Lopez made it look at for most of the fight. I thought, wow, is it really that easy to deal with Loma speed, footwork and combinations? The best strategies are always the simplest ones. I thought the same thing when Floyd fought Manny and kept him confused with his jab.

                    Stop using that ridiculous cliché.
Lomachenko was not "exposed" lol ..he just lost.
Lopez was the better man, but Lomachenko had
already proven his skill and class.

If you want to dislike/disregard him, that's your own issue,
but it's completely ridiculous to say he was "exposed".

                    Stop using clichés.
Next you'll probably say "you don't know **** about boxing".
That's another over-used phrase used by casual sheep.

I've never like Lomachenko, just based on his arrogant
personality, but to say he was "exposed" is foolish.

                    Lomachenko was not exposed.
                    Lopez just proved his greatness.

Idgaf about no rematch, I just don't see the point. If Teo & his dad want one fair play. If Arum pays them well I don't doubt they'll run it back.

This is the problem with sour losers.
PAC said the same thing after getting beat by Floyd.
Nonito said the same thing after getting beat by Rigondeux.
Haye said the same thing (his toe) after getting beat by Wlad.

                      Now we have Loma
