I’d take Williams by a close decision, Shawn generally just falls short against the top guys, but always gives them all they can handle.

Kell Brook was also able to utilise his size well to control Porter in the clinches so Williams could likely do the same.

The only people to beat Paul Williams or give him some trouble were much bigger than Porter. Sergio Martinez, Carlos Quintana, Margarito, and Lara were all at least 5'9" with at least a 6 foot reach. Plus, we all know Margarito was probably using illegal wraps.

Porter is short for a welterweight. His height and reach disadvantage was a problem in his fights against Brook, Ugas, and Spence. Williams is much taller and rangier than those 3, so it will be a rough night for Porter.
