I don’t think it’s a matter of miraculous healing. If anything I think he just ****** it up and tried to win the second half of the fight since he was behind. The problem is he didn’t leave himself any room for error and Teo had more stamina than expected.

If that's the case, he should have known to suck it up much sooner than he did. As for counting on Lopez to tire, we have to expect that Loma would tire too. And with Lopez being the younger man, his second wind would be more likely to kick in and endure than Loma's.

I agree, and I'm not sure why Loma waited so long to let his hands go. Maybe he overestimated his ability to do damage. Maybe he didn't think he was losing all the rounds in the moment. Either way it ended up costing him dearly because throwing a little (Lopez) is always better than not throwing at all (Lomachenko). Unless you're Willie Pep.

Shoulder operation after being defeated just like Pacman vs Floyd. The difference was Floyd is top gun and Lopez is not. And Loma got shot with pain killers and Pacman was not allowed pain killers.
