Santa Cruz is a far more accomplished going into the Tank fight than Lopez was the Loma fight.

That said Davis is a big favorite for a reason. If he does make 130 is be pleasantly surprised.

I'm a fan but also a Tank critic concerning his motivation, but the weight stuff I'd bet won't be an issue this time much to my own surprise.

It's an interesting fight despite the weight stuff people focus on. LSC is active as fook, but idk that he's been in with anyone with Tank's power. If Tank don't show up or doesn't take this fight seriously I could see an upset. But seeing the vids I've seen it looks like he's more serious than usual & it's gonna be a night where LSC has a rough go of it as long as it lasts or he really shines & ups his game to another level & we get some crazy fight. The former seems more likely. Don't think I'd bet on a Tank stoppage, but it wouldn't surprise me.

The Loma-Lopez fight made me rethink how the LSC fight is going to go down the stretch but I expect Tank to show his pedigree.

That's the thing I dont get, everyone is making LSC sound like a scrapheap, I've never seen him dominated. Like you said hes worldclass, hes def not elite, but he's in that middle tier "top 10 contender/belt holder". Theres no reason to think that he is just gonna get run over or not put up a decent scrap

And as has been mentioned tank isnt exactly a role model of fitness and consistency, dude looked like he had hardly trained for the gamboa fight.

Which makes this fight that much more interesting

Probably, unless there were legit extenuating circumstances. Those reasons/excuses would be believed/disbelieved along lines already determined before the fight.

Exactly. Now if a Tank does happen to go in there and blow Leo back to LA county...then we know Tank is the truth. That would be a fair assessment.
