The take over was against the right guy at the right time and as long as he's matched correctly he will do well.

Lopez should do well against baranchyk, zepeda and do ok with Ramirez. The big rangy guys like Devin Haney or Josh Taylor will prove too much and in IMO Regis Prograis blasts Lopez out.

More importantly...don't expect Haney, Taylor or Prograis to get that chance because Arum simply won't allow it.

Yep kid def won't be lacking in confidence, the only thing you basically have to watch with Dev is that he don't get too over confident. I'm sure in Dev mind, he feels he's both bigger and stronger physically than Teo, but that can get him in trouble trying to prove something in the ring, he'd have to come into the fight in great elite shape and ready to box for 12rds and not take risks trying to prove he can stop Teo by exchanging and let it come naturally if the opportunity presents itself, he can basically beat Teo easy just pot shotting imo

Arum know's what he's looking at when he see's Haney, his worst nightmare. A Floyd Jr clone.

One paragraph of an interview can make up to 8 articles on the boxingscene; but for some reason I read them all. Or at least skip through them.

Anyway, I see this being a chess match, possibly somewhat boring.

Haney has really been unimpressive to me compared to the nsb hype, if you will. I hope he's improved under Floyd's tutelage just to me the fight more entertaining, but I can't say that anything about him makes me think he beats Teo. On a side note, these two have been so soft (especially Teo) and complimentary around each other but talk a lot when they're separated, it's pretty cheesy. I'm definitely more interested in how Ryan Garcia develops and of course a Tank Davis-Lopez fight.

Haney is very fast and very talented. And he can punch. However, he has developed some bad habits that he has gotten away with so far against the limited opposition he has faced. He keeps his left hand at his waist. A guy like Lopez or Gervonta Davis will have the speed and power to time Haney's jab and nail him when he brings his left back down to his waist after jabbing.

I wasn't a fan of Lopez until he beat one of my fave boxer Loma. Now I am one of his followers. I say beat the krap out of Haney just to shut him up then move to 140.

Id like to see him face Haney before he moves up.

Same here, he earned my respect especially when he came to Loma's corner after the fight... as foe Loma he is my fav, just needs to move back to his natural 130 weight, the size difference was noticable.

People over hyping Haney for fighting absolutely nobody, we truly don't know how good he is. Old crippled Gamboa will be leagues above what's he's ever faced. His dad has marketed him well.
