Lopez got bigger fish to fry. Loma should fight the Berchelt vs Valdez winner next.
Why is nobody asking for a rematch? Lopez/Lomo

This basically the same Q as Marquez turning down mega bucks for Pac 5. Why? Money is the name of the game. Obviously he knew he got lucky and Pac came in hands down and he didn't want to tarnish things with a risky #5, despite OFFERS OF MANY MILLIONS.
If Lopez gets offered a lot of $ for rematch and turns it down it would be telling.Comment

EVERYBODY says the rematch is worth it, and you can bet that Loma would open as the odds on favorite if it happened. The only one who doesn't want it is Lopez, saying idiotic things like "oh it will just got he same way", and "there are bigger fights". There isn't a single fight anywhere near as big as the rematch.
Valdez? Berchelt? Guys don't move the needle.Comment

Has Lomachenko actually mentioned he wants a rematch? This was incompetence or arrogance on his team's part to not ask for a rematch in the contract. As Lopez mentioned, it was Lomachenko's side that did not want a rematch in the first place.
If we get a rematch, then great! If we don't, then that's fine too.Comment
