How Is Lopez p4p But Not Josh Taylor?

So lopez basically beat the smaller commey whose best win is mid 30s beltran and lomachenko whose a natural 126-130 and people are saying hes p4p but i barely see anyone mention taylor whose past 5 opponents had a combined record of like 110-1, 3 of which were world champs/former champs and won the ali trophy never being mentioned. Whats with the double standards?

Both are on my list. After Taylor dominates Ramirez I’d like to see Taylor vs Lopez in a battle of undisputed champs. First time it would have ever happened in the 4 belt era I believe.

I Like how strongly you feel about Josh, I'm still on the fence on that one.

But, Lopez vs the winner does sound ****ing excellent.

One of those guys I watched as an amateur and saw something special in, so I’m fully driving that hype train.

Yeah it’d be a special fight man. Like Bob Foster jumping up and fighting Frazier the two undisputed champions of each division going toe to toe. Taylor-Lopez would be a lot more competitive though.

I always thought Roy and BHop should have done it around 2002 when both held the majority of the belts in their respective divisions.

Stfu you loma dykerider ! Loma had 4 fights at 135 he had enough time to adjust to the weight. Defeated 2 champions on the process.

I really like Josh Taylor, but he looks a bit slow and plodding TBH. However, he’s a great inside fighter and has shown he can adjust — he doesn’t get nervous either, which is huge. He reminds me a bit of Andre Ward (they both had similar styles to compensate for their short reaches), but I need to see him in more tough fights with elites. He did great against Prograis, in a fight I’d thought he’d lose ... it was still awful close though and IMO could have been scored a draw.

Let’s wait and see how he does with Ramirez. If he gets through him he has a shot against Lopez.

Lopez is american, you haven't worked this **** out yet? Same reason one of the judges had it 119-109!
Broner was p4p early on, FFS that's all you need to know!

He just won all the titles and beat a p4p fighter.. Idk what else there is to say

Love to see him fight the winner of the ramirez fight at 140, I think he would be well suited for 140
