Debate Zone: How did you score Loma vs Teo?

It was closer than the scorecards showed in my opinion. I felt like Loma needed the last 2 rounds big to get a draw or SD. Teofimo won the fight! Loma started too late to get going.

Lopez clearly won, no debate. shut this thread down. Lopez made it impossible for Loma to get anything off. Lopez did everything right. Lopez can box, move, counter, he even has power. Hope he's not one of those fighters that peaks early, looking forward to more Lopez fights.

But he won the first half landing an average of 8 punches per round to Loma’s 4-5... he was busy throwing but missing over 80% of his shots.

Definitely needs a rematch.

The rounds Lomachenko won were far clearer. And if he kept it up he would’ve won. But he couldn’t keep it up because Lopez was nowhere near being stopped as the 12th showed.

The rounds loma lost were mostly Lopez keeping him guessing and minimising lomachenkos output. Nothing flashy, and no “mauling” like some spastics make out.

Loma lost. No draw. And I was rooting for him.
Would love to see a rematch, and could see both fighters winning.

But Loma fought very cautious, and he gave away too many early rounds.

And Lopez secured it in the 12th.
You could even argue that even if he lost the 12th it would’ve been a one point win or draw at best.
