I was accused by a certain poster of “flipping the script” because I said Lopez did to Lomachenko what Fury did to Wilder. I never said Lomachenko or Wilder were bums. I expected both to win.

I was stereotyped as some sort of “Loma Fury” fanboy. Whatever that means.

Why am I being called names for saying what Lomachenko had happen against Lopez was similar to what Wilder had happen against Fury?

Both got beat at their own game, and both likely won’t fully recover.

Both are still great in their own rights.

But Lopez deserves his due recognition, as Fury got deservedly last February.

Why does saying this mean I’m now some sort of bandwagon fan, or racist, or that IDKSAB?

Any criticism of Loma will cause you to be attacked And called a racist, white fighter hater, or Eastern European hater by a segment of Loma’s fanbase.

That is because that segment of his fanbase likes him not for his boxing skill but non boxing reasons.

Don’t worry, they will disappear soon.

Just be careful, they will find their way to Usyk or Bieterbiev should they get a big win.

lomo is overrated, get over it.

I still like Loma, Ukraine and all that, but it would seem you are right. I also however think the loss was partly down to Lopez being excellent, though, not just that Loma was overrated... I admit I was one who overrated him myself and I am eating my humble pie now. :0
