lopez did not win that fight

He wasnt landing clean!!! Watch the fight again, these punches were landing on gloves and arms and compubox were scoring them!!! They had this thing set up for lopez to be the new star, with the standard united states pre filled score cards and the commentators siding with lopez from the word go. That fight was a draw!!! Once loma had shook off the ring rust he was winning near on every damn round, in a normal year where he was active and there was a crowd he would have won that easily.

    Bore off

It was a clear 8-4 win for Lopez. 7-5 to be super generous to Loma.

Ring rust is a bad excuse. Never bothered guys like Floyd, he could take a year out or more and come back razor sharp.

Lopez hadn’t fought for nearly a year too.

I guess Loma must have been in on the fix because he absolutely didn't do **** for the first half of the fight. Lopez wasn't doing anything spectacular he was just letting his hands go and that's all he needed to do.

I agree. A draw would be fair. However that was Lomas mistake not to engage in first 6 rounds. Obviously he felt Lopez power, but come on man it is unification fight u have to risk. Lomas game plan was all wrong thanks to his dad who was telling him to be patient for the first 6 rounds. In amateur boxing Loma would have won on points cuz Lopez missed a lot of punches. Loma should have taken a lesson from GGG and Kovalev fights.
I was surprised that biased Ward had it right way however all judges were bribed and they did all they can to secure victory for Lopez if the fight go the distance

Loma didn't win. If Lopez didn't win it was a draw.

It’s not surprising to see this from you. You are one of the guys that likes Loma for non boxing reasons.

Loma won rounds 8-11. His pace in those rounds resulted in him eating almost 50 power punches and losing the 12th.

He clearly lost rounds 1-6. On most cards he also lost round 7.

How do you get a draw out of that?
