How would loma cope with an elite fighter who wasn't GREEN?

Let's not forget Teo was a 23 year old kid who didn't really know much when it came to the trenches and loma started fouling and butting.

Imagine he faced a true prime elite who would know exactly what to do and maul his midget ass right back.

Imo he was lucky he was facing a novice last night and avoided getting ko'd based on that fact alone.

We saw how he coped with a washed up journeyman Orlando Salido. He got sonned. He was dropped by Linares and touched up by blown up Marriaga. Why clowns overrated and over hyped him so much still puzzles me. Those ATG's that Loma bunboys wrongfully compared him to would out box and beat him up. 135lb. Floyd would've Gatti'd him. 135lb. Pacquiao would've battered him.

He would not fight him? Say he's too old?

López is 23 and this was his major fight

          Still green

If he were 28-30 with more experienced

          It’d be a different fight

Perhaps in the modern era where guys can still be viewed as green at mid 20s and 20+ fights.

Teo is a breath of fresh air and a throwback.

Green, blue, plaid.....wouldn't matter (unless the opponent is a complete bum, which Teo is not).

If Loma gives away the 1st 6 rds, it's a wrap.

And he was bigger and stronger and punched a lot harder, Loma had this very same advantage when he beat Rigo.

When are you boys' going to understand weight I guarantee you Teo was a Division bigger and thats a lot down in them low weights, and Loma just couldnt deal with the size and power deficient in such a quality fighter it shut him down to a woody wood pecker tapping on a tree, Loma felt the power and strength right of the go, fight like he did and try and steal it or get stopped.

I wish this forum would get off the hate trips and get into all the facets of the sport, they are not wind up toys and they all have limitations concerning weight + opponent quality , how they go outside of their division takes nothing away from their best past performances.

And for the thread, how would Loma go against an Elite that wasnt green, if it was 126-130 he probably wins, weight means so much down there when you talking real quality sharp shooters.

Excellent post. Your comments might be too rational for the people on this site to understand though. Good to see there's some people on here who understand things.
