    Lopez poise was ridiculous

I really thought the inexperience would show more but man was Lopez locked in you can see during the fight Lopez thinking and fully alert like a damn sniper.

I don’t see anyone beating Lopez anytime soon.

      Why the hate?

I don’t see you calling out the majority of guys here falsely claiming all these euro cats as the next big thing.

You see that’s the problem here you guys want everyone to agree with your BS but when someone else states something ya start with the bashing.

That’s why this place is the way it is.

Lopez did do a great job of taking what was available instead of pressing too much against Loma. He banked early rounds by landing straight rights to the body as Loma moved away and Teo was content to bank rounds instead of giving Loma opportunities to counter.

I do notice that Teo sacrifices defense for offense by posting up behind his left shoulder and looking for big counters instead of moving his head.

That allowed Loma to land frequently in the second half of the fight and I'm curious to see how he will address that going forward.

Lopez raised to the occasion like a true professional.

Your right that is something he should work on but I think he did it because he never felt Loma could hurt him so he stayed in position to counter with his shots.

He showed discipline and stick to his game plan. He really had to concentrate and then when Loma finally had no choice but to engage he was ready for him. Brilliant plan and execution.

Yeah I'm guessing Teo didn't feel too threatened, especially since Loma barely threw anything for the first six rounds. Loma should have started earlier and focused on scoring vs. doing damage but all credit to Teo for dictating the pace.
