In other words, just as Tyson Fury took the fight to Deontay and brutalized him (something almost nobody expected), Teofimo Lopez outboxed and outclassed Vasyl Lomachenko last night (something almost nobody expected).

Both Wilder and Lomachenko are on their downswing and have now lost their sense of aura and mystique.

Fury and Lopez, respectively, laid down the blueprints for beating those guys.

I’m not saying either of them are done, but I am saying that they will never be looked at the same way again, no matter what happens.

And oh yeah, Lomachenko is my favorite boxer. I love the guy but I have to admit the dude got dismantled last night.
Loma was beaten by age and size. This has happened throughout history. Props to Lopez for a job well done!

"blueprint"? no other heavyweight can whoop wilder like that because none are skilled enough. i still think wilder KO's AJ

and loma probably needs to go down 1 division. his punches did absolutely nothing to teo.

its a stretch to call these "blueprints"

IDK? If they did a rematch I still think Loma has a great chance of winning. Just needs to start faster.

I do as well. Mr Robot is not smooth in his punches. And winds up more that Wilder does.

I'm mean I just saw a fat midget have him scurred shtless

Chin up fellas, just going to have to deal with his shlt post like this for a few weeks of a couple of months.

It was a solid fight, and unfortunately when you lose. You go from one extreme with fans to the other

Agreed! An earlier start by Loma and a classic would be possible!

Loma has looked human at 135. Lopez is a dangerous explosive fighter. Loma couldn't get started until round 7 and once he found some footing it was too little too late. If he was able to get started a few rounds earlier, he probably stops Teo. But it was Teo's night and he was the better man. Lopez did a little bit better than Campbell and Linares and he beat Loma.

Your characterization of events is odd

Teo was feeling them in the later rounds. Just too little too late from Loma. Not sure if it was Loma's power/Teo's fatigue, or Teo not seeing them coming, but it was clear Loma's shots were bothering him in the later rounds
