The weight limit is too high if True. So basically anyone 240 and below will be able to make the new division by draining. That's the majority of the HW division. The HW can't afford to be watered down, it's shallow in talent as it is.

This division doesnt exist to the commissions or every other ABC belt.

Its a make believe division.

At some point someone is just going to not make the make believe weight and they will still be in the heavyweight division and WBC will be like oh no you dont get to fight for our made up jr heavyweight belt. Then when their opponent loses they are going to complain the other guy cheated and yada yada yada.

To be fair... there’s too many divisions in the lower weights.

I would get rid of all of the jnr and super divisions, make light heavy 13st, cruiser 14st then heavy.
Basically each weight class a stone (14lb) increment.
It would save boxing and give us competitive fights. Only one champ per weight and you’ve got an actual real sport once again.
