Teofimo kept up with Lomachenko's angles and pivots

That was kind of a surprise to me. I thought Lopez was more of a plodder, but his footwork was on point yesterday.

Teo elbowing Loma away from striking range also impressed me. Very good adjustment that lasted 2 to 3 rounds until Loma came up with a solution for it

The uppercut was dope too. Loma adjusted to it also

Teo will be a very bad man when he learns to fight inside dirty and further tightens up his defense

We’re on the way to seeing the final product

      I noticed that.

His footwork, timing and counter punching was excellent.

I was more impressed with Loma’s reflexes to dip to the side whenever he pounced an attack while Lopez missed his counter uppercuts. Loma’s curse is that he has T-Rex arms. His range and stride isn’t as practical like long armed fighters who can reach to the body effortlessly

He was turning with Loma. Very impressive.

He’s super explosive. Twitchy reflexes. And sharp. He always says he doesn’t just punch. He places his shots and that’s hard to do against someone like Loma. He had the best consistent success against all Lomas 135lb opponents.

True, that helps. But pivoting and moving your feet properly is a skill that you don't get without proper training.

He has obviously spent time working on it.

I had Loma giving Lopez a beating when this fight was announced. Boy did Lopez sure surprise me. Kid is definitely better than I thought. His focus last night was legendary and the key component to him being the better boxer and technician last night.
