Lol Green K. Ward gave Loma the benefit of every doubt. I find it ironic because Ward, when he had to go after a puncher (Kovalev) actually SET his feet, and gave a great shot, something Loma could not/did not do... Loma hurt Lopez by making him go "ouch" getting hit in the face with punches that hurt... they were never a threat to damage Lopez, and people are not seeing that distinction. When Ward hit Kovalev, Kovalev was damaged...

    I agree about the rematch.

      Lopez wins

Has his number. He’s only getting better at 23, Loma is 32 and has peaked.

Now Lopez knows he can go 12 and actually did his best work in the 12th, he would start busting up Loma earlier

One thing people are missing is that Lopez also adjusted after Loma did. Loma made a decent adjustment and started having some success, but Lopez started landing again and took over again by the 12th

        What do you guys think?
if he applies the pressure early he will win the fight

The rematch would be huge, and I'd favor Lomachenko again going in. I'd expect more urgency from Lomachenko and a UD victory where the cream rises.

I would be more confident Lomachenko would win to be honest. Lomachenko like Rigondeaux is one-dimensional, but he’s still a vastly superior boxer to Lopez. I;d bet he wouldn’t start so late in the rematch. But him and his team ***ed up big time, and I doubt they will be a rematch.

Lopez would stop him. I don’t need to see a rematch.

Lopez says no rematch. I think Loma could beat him if he started trying to actually win all rounds from round one to round 12. He would not win all the rounds because Lopez is damn good but he could win 7 rounds and that is all he should need. The scoring was way off this time. One judge got it right with 116 to 112 for Lopez. The other two judges were way too generous to Lopez. I thought Loma deserved to win rounds 8 9 10 and 11. If he starts fighting to win rounds from the beginning I think he might beat Lopez with fair scoring. Of course 23 year old Lopez might improve for a rematch. There won't be a rematch anyway and Loma should return to 130 or 126 instead of fighting naturally bigger men.

Yeah but you are just one person with just one opinion. Maybe lots of others would like to see a rematch. Why would Lopez stop him in a rematch when he never even knocked Loma down or hurt him much last night????

That would be landing the only head shots in round 2... then winning 7-11 by constant clean effective combination punching.

That's what happened. There was a time where many many people watching were begging Lopez to hold on... He was almost completely overwhelmed.

                      You need to wake up.
