I for one would love to see them go at it again. I had Loma edging it out 7 rounds to 5.
Is a Lopez/Loma rematch warranted?

I understand Loma knew he couldn't walk into that fire early. Lopez is sneaky, fast & hits hard and that jab also troubled Loma. When Loma finally turned it on, he looked like a man who could win the fight. It was very competitive in the last rounds but for Loma it was too little too late IMO.
I still didn't think it would take Loma THAT many rounds to get going. In a rematch would he start faster now when he knows what Lopez brings to the table? If he does will the result be different? Maybe, mabye not but why I wouldn't mind to see a rematch.Last edited by VatoMulatto; 10-18-2020, 07:15 AM.Comment

The fight itself outside the score cards was competitive but no chance its happening. You take the W and run.Comment

Such a slow start by Loma. Reminded me a bit of Wlad in the Fury fight (this was a better fight obviously) in that because he couldn't judge the distance like normal he wasn't able to try and just push some shots out there as play some percentages. I suppose there was a real threat that he though he could be knocked out too.
Lopez was spectacular but Loma must be carrying a lot of what ifs now.
Right man won. Obviously one of the score cards was filled out weeks ago though.
So exciting to see where Lopez goes from here. Undisputed at 23!Comment
