Much, much, much faster hands, hits a lot harder, aggressive mentality, a much better pro resume. Loma is very good technically, but there's much more to a fighter than technique. The amateur/pro thing is too different games. Frankie Gavin was a world-class amateur, as a pro in his prime he lost to the decent domestic level Sam Eggington, and never at any stage of his career looked like he was going to be a world champion. A few had hype on him early, I never did. I knew what he was, a decent domestic level pro fighter.
