Teofimo Lopez: Lomachenko is Basic! No special fx!

Teofimo says Lomachenko is just a basic boxer, no special fx.

The man is making a lot of sense and I thought he'd be really arrogant in victory but he's actually playing it pretty cool. Loma was a sore loser if anything.

Hes just basic but he had to dig deep... his words...
I don’t blame him for leaving the ring, scores were way off. Julie lederman is like Adelaide Byrd

I don't think the scores were way off.. The 119-109 was the widest, giving Loma only one round. But any other round where Loma had success, so did Teo. They were swing rounds, maybe 3 of them in the fight.

So you could be generous to Loma and score those rounds for him, or be generous to Lopez and score those rounds for him. Or score them a draw. It just turned out tonight the judges gave the swing rounds to Lopez instead of Loma. If you seen the Campbell vs Loma fight, in that one all the judges gave the swing rounds (and there were a lot of them) to Loma, so the scorecards appear very wide in Loma's favor but that was a close fight. Much closer than the Lopez fight.

This. 119-109 may be a little too wide and it's giving Loma's fans something to complain about but I had it 116-112 as did one of the judges and I'm fine with the 117-111 score because it's just the difference of one round (I believe he gave the 9th to Lopez).

The fight looked similar to the Campbell fight in that Loma was struggling to get into his rhythm because of the difference in reach but Campbell didn't have the same power Lopez had to deter Loma's attacks and Campbell's footwork wasn't as effective as Teo's when it came to controlling the distance. Basically Teo had a similar plan to Campbell but executed it more effectively and won the rounds more clearly.

I think if Usyk loses he will be graceful in defeat. He's such a weirdo in his own universe. Seems more humble too. Time will tell anyway.
