Loma/Lopez: Bob Arum doesn't want to see Julie Lederman judging ever again

Arum: Lopez won, 7-5 is way I scored it. I can see 8-4, that’s a possibility. But you can’t score it 11 rounds to 1 and say you watched the fight. Ninth, 10th and 11th weren’t close. I would advise any fighter that I have to ask for the commission not to appoint Julie Lederman

So - if we accept that Arum wasn't responsible...and we accept Floyd's ticket...does that mean Floyd or Ellerbe paid Lederman...?

julie ledderman been bad for over 2 decades now. Her and her diseased dad. Blindness is hereditary in the family. NO way Lopez won 11 rounds. I scored it 7-5. I have no idea how she continues to get jobs as a judge in major fights. As soon as they announced her as a judge, I was worred.(you can search my posts). She's one of the worst judges in the history of the sport. But she can't be that bad, she's obviously a bought judge. We should not know people like her and Duane Ford by names and remember them from bad cards.


Having said that, Lomachenko lost. He just didn't do anything the first half, but he didn't lose 11 rounds though.

Arum and Suliman may very well have conspired to screw Loma from the beginning because his style isn't very fan friendly. I just don't trust Arum at all and I've said for a long time that Loma and Crawford should get away from him. I know that I've been trolling Loma fans the past 12 hours, but Bob Arum is scum. You had the 2 top pfp fighters in the world under contact and couldn't make EITHER one of them a star. I've never seen that before in my life. If Stevenson is smart, he will leave too. I have no idea why fighters keep signing to this man. What exactly is he saying to them in contract negotiations?

Another miserable Julie card was 8-4 Chaves over Bradley. It was so bad that her old man said something along the lines of "that's not how I scored that fight" in reference to her card.

I agree the card was de****able and inconsistent judging and the inability to hold judges accountable is a problem in boxing.

The result I'm fine with, Lopez deserved the win, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the continued problem of terrible and or shady scorecards.

Good question. Crawford and loma i'm sure are making decent money and maybe both are actually happy with how thing's have played out.

Maybe bob see's loma moving back to 130 and doing good and teo hanging around 135 doing good, so he does good too!!

Edit: but i thought teo was last fight at 135 awhile ago so maybe that doesnt make sense
