    Best Thing About Teo Lopez

He’s only 23 and still has plenty of room for improvement.

I’m impressed with his versatility. Capable of coming forward to apply pressure AND fighting backwards as shown in round 12

Could learn to fight dirty inside the trenches

Best thing about the young, undisputed champion is his eagerness to chase greatness. No fans, not on ppv but instead on a basic cable channel, and he took on a legend at such an early stage of his career. Man, talk about leader of the new school. He made all these other young guys look bad. Hopefully this lights a fire on their ass.

I barely knew who Teo is

But it takes a special fighter to whoop Loma—the man who embarrassed the masterful Rigo

I am a big Lopez fan obviously. I will be honest with my assessment of his performance tonight. Hes a great explosive alert fighter with great timing and percision however gets panicky in-close and in-close he is susceptible to making mistakes that can cost him big time. He seems to do well on the outside exploding with shots and lomachenko is the opposite where he is great inside, the fight went the way it went cause only one fighter was willing to put it all on the line and the other not so much, Lopez was willing to mix it up on the inside and try to win the flurries where Lomachenko was not willing to try to win on the outside so he gave away alot of rounds just looking for a way to get on the inside which he never made happened (lopez got tired a tad and his sharpenest faded a tad aswell).

Easy to forget he was the one chasing this fight too. Fighters say they want to prove themselves against the best when they become a champ but very few actually mean it. He meant it.

Proved himself to be an excellent fighter tonight too. Seriously impressive ring IQ and composure for someone 23.

Much faster and sharper than expected too. I think that threw Loma off, along with the intelligence.

He will only get better too.

Some here were saying that he was ducking Loma during negotiations.

People talk too much crap and then they go into hiding

People can put away ''he's a bum'' now. Sometimes a guy needs the opportunity to prove himself and Teo did (even if he lost a UD). I didn't like how he took his foot off the gas in the later rds.

                    bingo

                    Teo still young and learning

A good swarmer who forces a fight inside could give Teo fits
