I had it exactly like Ward. Clean effective punching needs to be taught to these judges.
Lopez won that fight. Stop it! Lopez has speed, he's just as fast if not faster than Loma when he is fresh. Loma knew better. He woulds have been sleeping if he tried to get aggressive early on. Lopez punches lost so much steam and he was still tagging Loma when he was dead tired. If there is a rematch he will retire Loma. And this is coming from a person who had Loma as one of their favorite fighters and always respected him. Loved his mentality, attitude and aggressiveness. Never scared in the ring but today he was after acting like he was super tough. Soft!!! He was supposed to be the anti-floyd but instead he fought just like Floyd, only less successful.

The fight was won/lost in the early rds. Don't know what Loma's strategy was.

probably and I think they planned on loma to come on strong and take away Lopez heart and stop him late.
I don’t care who you are or What skill set you have. You cannot give away 6 rounds with not even punching....one it leaves a mountain to climb which is almost impossible and two it puts judges off and they watch a fighter not even trying.....when you watch a movie at the cinema and the first 40 minutes is **** what do you normally do....you get bored and walk out the place.
Loma blew it he believed his hype thought he could just do nothing for 6 rounds thinking that he would come on late and win....but he left it too late and I think loma is an amazing fighter but that is a negative against him now for me ...no urgency

He has lost 3 fights in his life. He also was fighting champions in his 2nd pro fight. He is a legitimate great fighter.
Yeah but no means this is the end of Lomochenko. He is a legend and he rallied late in the fight and a lot of older fighters will just pack it in but Lomochenko showed championship pedigree.

I scored it 7-5 Lopez. Lomochenko has nothing to be ashamed about it losing tonight. Good night for boxing

Loma put his foot on the gas and Teo really didn't have an answer (last 1/2 of the fight).

After the 4th, Team Loma should have realized the kid is for real and it's time to step it up.

The only problem with your point is Loma lost the 12th and got hurt because he expended so much and took shots while he pressed offense.

Had he picked it up earlier he may have been hurt worse.

                  Back at you.

I like both fighters and was shaking my head at Loma's inactivity. Teo showed composure and proved he is a force to reckon with, but, Loma helped him out.

I think we can all agree that was premature .
