How were people giving Loma round 2, he did basically nothing for all but 10 seconds of that round. That was an easy round to score, Lopez dominated almost the whole round.

Round 7 was easy to score too. It’s 7-0. All 3 judges saw it 7-0 after 7 too. No close rounds so far.

8 was a close round. Either way is fine. I thought Lopez controlled more of the round, but Loma landed some good shots.

9th was the same too. Lopez controlled more of the round, but Loma had his moments. This round could go either way in scoring.

10 was a great round. Loma won it, but it was pretty close.

When Loma has done so little until the last few rounds it’s easy to give him the rounds. But judges by themselves all 3 were pretty close.

11 a clear Loma round. But the body work the last 45 seconds by Lopez set up the 12th to be dominant for him.

The 12th was a brutal beat down. Wow. Just took his body so hard and Loma was done. Loma tried to throw back but his punches had nothing left. That fight goes another round and Lopez ends it.

I must admit in my mind I was leaning more towards Lomachenko coming out the winner you know considering I thought he was at the time the favorite to win..

However it appears Lopez defied my expectations grabbed the victory and pulled it off it seems things will now get even more interesting in the division with this result..

I just rewatched the fight. I'm even more impressed with lopez (i still maintain my earlier commentary about this not being Loma's natural weight class but...). Great stuff from Lopez, specifically in the 12th where that body work was brutal. Loma had no energy left, just heart.

you're too biased. they were on the inside, loma didn't jump in with his head. you sound like you never saw an inside fight. And he wasn't wobbly that's just you believing the commentary.
