All you ****ing idiots who only watch boxing when there's a Pacquiao fight on the schedule...

The reason why Loma didn't do **** in the first 6 rounds is due to Lopez. He showed just as much skill and speed as his senior and more experienced opponent. Give Lopez his credit.

And you had the nerve to compare Loma's legacy to Mayweather's. Lol.

      Two WBC belts?

Does anyone know why Lopez was holding two wbc belts at the end of the fight?

What ? Floyd beat Corrales to within an inch of his life .Floyd beat Maidana not once but twice. He also beat ODLH

Just bcoz fighters do better than expected does not mean they won the fight

Floyd is 49-0 for a reason. Matter of fact he never came close to losing,

Teddy Atlas said it best, "The right man won the fight, but it was unfair for Loma to have to hear those scores". Julie Lederman, as I've said before, is a corrupt and incompetent judge. I had Teofimo winning the first 6 out of seven rounds - and he definitely won the 12th round. So without any knock downs or point deductions, I can see Lopez winning unanimously. And despite winning unanimously, I was truly concerned that he was going to get stopped - as Loma started to come on strong. But Lopez proved himself a champion, by holding on, and then digging deep down within his soul to rally his way to victory. Great Job Teofimo. I knew he had it in him to beat Loma.

Lomachenko is pretty much the fix to Boxing's ills.

For decades we had fighters avoiding everyone but the absolute worst opponents. Look at the careers of Jones and Mayweather. That sold VERY WELL with a certain demographic, but most of the world was turned off to Boxing.
Who didnt Mayweather fight that you think would have beaten him ?

I put in the work studying this craft everyday, I bring the boxingscene the film study every week. Yeah, they are going to avoid me and go silent for a minute.

Loma gave up the early fight and paid the price as Teo didn't wilt late on and was there to fight when Loma finally picked up the pace.

Great fight from Teo, right man won, but 119-109 ?
Nah. Loma was tentative because of Lopez's perceived power. Also, Lopez established a snap jab that was quick enough to throw Loma off. He was feinting, too, which didn't give Loma time to settle into any rhythm.

Loma was able to do what he did in second half because Lopez gassed, kept his hands low, was not snapping the Jab like he did earlier. I understand the kid is asthmatic, so that explains a lot. If Loma tried earlier what he did in the late rounds he would have been stopped.

Not so sure about a couple of those scorecards. I felt the right man won though.

A mature performance from Lopez, and a massive win.
