My opinion is the same of your comment. Lomachenko win at least 7 rounds. At least a draw, but in my eyes Lopez didn’t win that fight.
      Uh oh troll alert

No one is dis*****g Lopez clearly won 10 and 11. He did.

At no point in those rounds or at any part of the fight did he hurt or wobble Lopez like you are trying to ridiculously claim.

Hence, you’re out of touch with reality.
Lomachenko's offense was getting to Lopez. I don't know how anyone can dispute that. Lopez didn't fold as was expected, but getting smacked around is getting smacked around, whether you're dropped or remain on your feet.

No, I don't think Lomachenko was ever going to get a stoppage in a 12 rounder, but when he pushed his offense Lopez didn't really have an answer. If anything, his defense came undone, too.

Lopez won the early rounds because Loma threw them away. Loma won the latter rounds (outside 12) because he took them from Lopez.

Ward had it right with his 114-114. And I don't think it's horrible to score early rounds 10-10 in the feeling out process 10-10. It wouldn't be criminal at all to score the fight for Loma based on that, even if not the strongest argument.

He was under pressure sure. Not anywhere close to going down or being stopped he barely even looked uncomfortable whilst clearly under pressure.

To claim he was close to being stopped is asinine.

I want to see Lopez vs Pac @140. Let the legend passing the torch to the new generation.
He had a poor strategy against a virtual unknown. And I'll even conced that due to Lopez;s power, he needed to play safe.

But now he has actually calibrated LOpez's real ability. Look what happened in the Fury-Wilder rematch.

While it's obvious Fury was grossly robbed in that fight. And we saw flashes of his ability to overpower WIlder when he genuinely wanted to fight. It was a very similar story to this one - right down to the nut-huggers fans wanting the power-punching knuckle-dragger to have all the glory.

Lomachenko should still be the favorite to win the rematch. With competent unbiased judges he would have won tonight's fight if he had just imposed his offense two rounds earlier.

actually he did. rounds 6 through 10 were all pac. only round 9 was pretty close but pac definitely had the quality advantage in that one by a slim to medium margin. the other 4 by very big margins. that wasnt really my point though. the point was floyd fought tentatively for the whole fight like loma fought tentatively for the first 6 rounds. difference was floyd knew the cards would favor him if he just kept it close and he did keep it somewhat close but when you break it down pac got the better punches by far. the bigger difference was loma wasnt throwing anything while floyd was at least throwing but not landing cleanly so that fooled a lot of people

He wasn't just uncomfortable. He was being forced back into the limited brute everyone expected him to be.

Again, there was no chance of a stoppage, I agree with that. But Loma clearly took over the fight. Lopez was keeping himself alive by clinching and forcing the ref's intervention. If Loma had been allowed to continue to work then Lopez really would have been in serious trouble.

I hope you see that I am congratulating Lopez for fighting smart and maturely. But before the 12th round, this was a story of TWO different fights - one where Loma was waiting for Lopez to implode, another where Loma was winning by taking matters into his own hands.

I think this fight proved what we all know: Lopez is the bigger, more explosive fighter, Lomachenko has the more refined and complete offense. Poor strategy cost Loma: some of that is forgivable given what an unknown commodity Lopez was, some was clearly due to his own hubris/disinterest. But when he cared, he won.

Loma behind GGG?... damn. You Americans like to strike when us Europeans haven’t even finished mourning. You might as well put him behind Butterbean while you are at it.
I do agree though Loma was supposed to deal with him soundly , i mean if you throw 10 punches in 6 rounds what do you expect the scorecard to read And he got smoked in that 12th round.
