Comments Thread For: Devin Haney: I Want Lomachenko Fight, So Does He - But Not His Team

He could walk through all of them but getting ATG status would probably still be out of reach. He started too late as a pro and although what he is doing now is very impressive, it still may not be enough. The ATG group all seem to have very long pro careers.Comment

Sulaiman is on record in the past saying that the Franchise Championship is not a "defended title". You can't unify a title that isn't defended.
No, Mauricio is trying to pull a fast one because of the fiasco with the Franchise designation, which multiple people on here called out was going to be eventually be a problem.
OFFICIALLY, the winner would not have unified the division completely and would have to fight Haney to do that (which we know won't ever happen).

This whole thing is a straight up disaster and it's a BAD precedent to be setting in an already convoluted title picture. Only the IBF still has their head not up their ass.
This article's even worse because it says if Loma loses, Haney becomes full champion, so then where does that leave Lopez?
It's a clusterF.Comment

I have no idea what 135 is going to look like after this. At some point champions won't matter anymore.Comment

Wrong. Check my posting history, you'll never see me backtracking about giving credit to someone if they fight someone I called for them to fight.
It will be the same if Lomachenko beats Teofimo. Full credit will be given.
I'm just sick of the same people that nitpick Floyd Mayweather now being ready to crown Lomachenko. Despite him not doing nearly as much. Tired of the double standards and racial undercurrents around here.
Lomachenko has a loooooong way to go before we can even begin comparing him to Mayweather.Comment
