I like Lopez mind set coming into this fight. He’s confident that he’s going to give Lomochenko hell and I think he beats Lomochenko but the only way he does that is if he knock him out or scores a pair of knockdowns.

Lomochenko is not a God and he has looked beatable at 135.

That was really mean of loma and his team forcing teo and his team to get a belt before fighting him, i mean was 12 and 0 V's bum's not good enough for them!!

i checked out loma's instagram, what a load of crap, he barely updates at all and when he does it's poor, no idea on how thing's look like they are going so

we are left with looking at their faces to see who look's more 'relaxed' LOL, he's shhhoookkk!! (i hope)

Lopez Sr. was insistent upon a stare down because he saw a chance to impose a size difference and intimidate Lomachenko. Claiming that Loma is scared is more about Lopez Sr. selling a narrative to the public and much more importantly to his son. Watch the interview and count how many times Lopez looks back at his father for confirmation.

The reality is that Lomachenko's father saw this coming a mile away and other than promotion, he didn't see a point to the stare down. Lomachenko is cerebral, they are like Russian chess players, there is no emotion involved.

That said, Teo has a real chance because he seems to have genuinely bought into it his fathers mantra. The real test is going to come if size and intimidation alone just isn't enough and he needs a pan B. If Lopez Sr. has an answer the chess match will continue and if not Lomachenko will break him down and win by UD.
