Great attitude bro and i completely agree. This is what we wanted. This is what boxing needs.
Fighters willing to face the best of their divisions as soon as they become world champions. Without "I'm too green" excuses. Without waiting for other fighters to take a loss or get old.
We need the fights between the best guys on every division. Lopez actively looked forward and made preassure to fight Lomachenko. Even if he's still a bit green, even if Loma is better than him, he doesn't care. He wants to fight him. Even without public and without it being on PPV, in the middle of the pandemic.
What's the problem with that? it's great man. Just great.
Stop hating and enjoy the fight between two great aggressive fighters that will come to fight and not to clinch.
There's a minority that will hate no matter what.
Hats off to Lopez for wanting this fight and respect to Loma doing what no other fighter besides maybe Taylor is doing at the moment.
Its a win for the fans.Comment

I don't like Lopez much. I don't like rude people, or disrespectful people, or braggarts.
But that doesn't mean I can't respect his willingness to get in there with the best. I tend to forgive loudmouths if they back up what they say. A good example is Carl Froch. He rubbed me the wrong way for a long time because he was disrespectful and ran his mouth. But he won me over with gutsy performances and not ducking anyone.Comment

He won't get credit. The Loma haters definitely won't give him credit and by what some of the Loma fan's are saying Lopez sucks and talks too much so maybe they shouldn't give him credit either.
Not how I see it but boxing fans are strange people.Comment

For sure. The guy is young but he worked hard and basically went from prospect to champion in 2019. He made himself the #2 guy in the division and is testing himself against an elite talent at 23 years old. Idk what's not to like about that.
I really think the second half of this fight is going to be hard on him though.Comment

he definitely a very skilled accomplished fighter for his young age. no shame getting completely outclassed and possibly stopped by an ATG. he can become champion again. guaranteed.
a win over teo will crown loma #1 p4p.Comment

Teo absolutely deserves his shot, he earned his place and he's shooting for the strotsphere which is what I want to see very fighter do. Honestly can't see why anyone wouldn't like the fact the fights happening even if they ain't big fans of Teo personally. Myself whilst I think the kid's a bit of an asshat, that's pretty much what a young hungry fighter's gonna be most of the time, all balls and ego... s'like, so what? We into shrinking violets now?For sure. The guy is young but he worked hard and basically went from prospect to champion in 2019. Having said all that what I'm expecting to see is Teo increasingly out of his depth as Loma finds his rhythm and starts to work Teo out. Gonna be a huge test of Teos character to see whether he can keep his composure under pressure and under fire... if he can he might still have a chance to land something in the later rounds, but honestly I'm thinking it's more liklely we start to to see an increasingly frustrated and dispirited fighter as the bout wears on.Comment
